Caitlyn turned 2 (!!!) years old on Wednesday. Thanks to a fever the evening before, she spent her birthday at home with a rotation of her favorite people -- Daddy, Pop and Grandma. She loved opening her presents (more than she loved the presents themselves) and enjoyed an ice cream sundae from serenading servers at Red Robin.
But that's not all. The apple doesn't fall far from the Gene tree, so the celebration continues. Here's a short clip from Thursday night of her enjoying a belated birthday treat (a monkey cupcake with mile-high icing!) from Grandma and Pop.
And this weekend her extended fam will be stop by for more food and fun.
