Ditching diapers -- cold turkey

Miss Thing is a potty-training rock star at daycare, but she's been in quite a slump at home. So her teacher recommended that we upgrade to big-girl underwear this weekend ... which means we've been staying close to home and Caitlyn's favorite mini potty.

Luckily there has been plenty to occupy our time. For example, Caitlyn introduced Nathan to her doll babies. (As with most everything in life, Nathan was thrilled.)
And Daddy and Caitlyn spent some time outside enjoying the windy day with a new kite. (They even almost made it back inside in time to avoid an accident. Almost.)

And of course we've been spending lots of time on the potty, too. So far (less than 12 hours in), we're batting .500. Not sure if this is good or bad, but there's no turning back now. Well, probably no turning back....
