Caitlyn is mastering her big-girl bike (16" Buzz Lightyear-themed Huffy with training wheels), while Nathan is practicing his speedwalking skills. And Caitlyn is using words like "wonderful," "delicious" and "adorable," while Nathan is showing off his own vocal abilities by babbling into toy phones and as he pages through books.
The best part is how much they continue to adore each other (for now!). Caitlyn loves to take care of Babe, as she calls him. She plies him with toys when he gets fussy in the car and sings "Twinkle Little Star" to him when he cries. And Nathan starts cheering when he hears her alarm clock go off in the morning and loves to sit with his legs crossed and watch her jump and dance around the house.
These are busy, messy, noisy times, but they are the best!
