Growing like weeds

Our bambinos had their four-year-old and 18-month-old checkups last week and officially are big and healthy. Their stats follow.

Caitlyn: 35.5 lb. (52%), 41 1/2" (81%) -- which puts her on track to be 5'8"

Nathan: 27.1 lb. (79%), 33 1/2" (71%)

In other news, Caitlyn continues to spend most of her time writing and drawing and stickering everything and everyone in sight. (Nathan always has stickers on his back.) And her new favorite discussion topic is time, specifically the days of the week and months of the year.

Nathan is obsessed (an understatement, really) with trains. A few times, as soon as we walked into his bedroom in the morning, he sat up, smiled, pumped his arm (apparently a signal for a conductor to blow a whistle), and said, "Choo choo!" When he's not playing with trains, he is looking at picture books about them. He has a one-track mind if you'll excuse the pun....
