We joined Grandma and Pop on a pre-Pop's-double-knee-replacement getaway to the Jersey shore over the weekend.
Caitlyn didn't seem to notice that the water temps were in the low 50s, so by far, her favorite activity was jumping the waves. Close seconds were meeting Capt. Hook (who was "not cranky," as she had feared) and exploring a touch tank of sea creatures.
It was Nathan's first taste (literally) of the beach! His highlights were crawling all over the sand -- and eating enough of it to throw up a few times the first day -- and mastering his stair-climbing ability at the beach house.
