A sweet date

Yesterday Caitlyn and I spent the afternoon in Hershey. First we hit up Chocolate World to make our very own chocolate bars. Despite everything being computer-generated and behind-the-glass-machine-automated, the Hershey folks insisted we look the part. (Seriously, I was reprimanded for removing my latex gloves.)
Caitlyn designed both of our candy bar wrappers. She didn't want to pose with them, so I reverse photobombed her when she was busy eyeing up the Hershey's Kiss display. (-:
Next we took the tour ride, where Caitlyn wanted to know if everything was real. As in, real cows, real conveyer belts, real roaster. Then, as we were wrapping up our ice cream/milkshake break (please note that we showed some restraint and did not eat the chocolate bars we made), the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup came along. Caitlyn was stoked to meet her/him/it!

Then we unnecessarily rode the tram through the parking lot because it looked like fun and headed to the Giant Center to catch Disney on Ice. (Caitlyn scored a free ticket for reading library books.) The highlight was seeing The Little Mermaid cast -- especially Prince Eric, who Caitlyn informed me was the real one. Here we are, posing as we waited for the show to start. Love that kid....
Oh, and while we were away, Nathan learned how to say, "ta da!," which he demonstrated with great enthusiasm many times this morning by picking up things he dropped.
