Happy New Year! We toasted 2014 just a little shy of midnight with our buddies Noah and Eli (and Miss Christy and Mr. Eric, of course). The kiddos thought they were such big stuff staying up until 10 p.m. and drinking sparkling juice! (Truthfully, Caitlyn was scared of the carbonation until she realized it was just "bubbles dancing" on her tongue....)
Then we recuperated on New Year's Day with lots of cuddles, some movie watching, naps all around, a little baking, and dinner with Grandma, Pop and Ma Jane.
Since then, we've been gradually coming off of our holiday high and transitioning back into our routines. But we have two highpoints to get us through the record low temps this January -- Caitlyn's impending 5th birthday and our annual trip to the Farm Show! Today, we focused on the latter, where Caitlyn loved petting the bunnies and Nathan loved seeing the huge tractors and dairy cows ... and Mommy loved drinking her milkshake.
From our family to yours, we wish you a healthy, happy new year full of love and laughter!
