We kicked off our vacation with a character breakfast the first morning. Nathan was infatuated -- and surprisingly brave -- with the characters ... so long as they kept a little distance. Caitlyn was ready and willing to hug and pose with them all!
We rode tons of rides, even with a two-year-old and five-year-old in tow. Caitlyn was her typical fearless self, enjoying the Haunted Mansion and Soarin' and Barnstormer. Nathan's favorites were driving the cars, "shooting bad guys" (Toy Story and Buzz Lightyear rides) and playing "hockey" inside the Epcot Planet Earth.
Caitlyn was named Princess of the Day at Cinderella's castle on Monday. She was first in line to meet Cinderella and then had her name announced before she led everyone upstairs to the dining room!
The luck kept coming for our little Tink. She was chosen to carry the flag for Captain Hook's crew on our pirate fireworks cruise, and then Peter Pan asked her to play follow the leader! Our little pirate Nathan sobbed when we left Peter Pan (no doubt in part because it was nearly 11 p.m....).
These shots give a pretty good description of how our days in the park went -- Caitlyn navigating our way, and Nathan partying (and crashing) like a rock star.
Last but not least, here are a few final photos of the many, many character meet-and-greets our kiddos enjoyed. By midweek, Nathan was hugging every huge animal in sight!
