New York, New York

Grandma and Pop took Caitlyn (and me!) on a trip to New York City this weekend as a belated fifth birthday present. Peanut Girl road the train into Penn Station, took a taxi across the city, walked through Times Square, ate at a deli where the grilled cheese sandwich was bigger than her head (as evidenced below), saw The Lion King on Broadway, shopped at the M&M store, and watched the ice skaters at Rockefeller Center.
It was a fun but exhausting 18-hour jaunt. So exhausting, in fact, that Caitlyn passed out in my arms while we were standing in a crowded, noisy bar, waiting for a table to have dinner. (UNHEARD of for our little sleepless wonder.)

At the end of the day, her take on the Big Apple? "It's good, but it's too busy." Right on, kiddo.

That is great, glad you had a great time. I like the city too every once in a while, but Noah is ready to go back any time!
