Our kiddos have been talking about their upcoming beach trip for weeks (probably months). It's nearly here! But first, a quick look at what's been keeping us busy.
Celebrating Gene
For his birthday, we ate ice cream for dinner, and a few days later, Grandma and Pop took us to Black 'n Bleu to celebrate his 42nd year. I ordered him an air fryer, and Caitlyn made him a card, and Nathan gave him a matchbox car that was just what he wanted.
Playing spring sports
Nathan was moderately interested in baseball this spring, but the coach presented him with the game ball one evening for his great stops at second base and good speed running the bases. Meanwhile, Caitlyn's soccer team won the Fusion Fun Day tournament for its division, and Peanut Girl scored a goal in the championship game!
Wrapping up the school year
Somehow we have a first grader and third grader in the house.... *sigh* They had a great school year but were ready for summer break! A few first day/last day comparisons:
